Full Stack Project Developer

Description:

The Women's and Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women and children in Adelaide and South Australia.

It is the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions and SA's largest maternity and obstetric service. It also provides important community-based services.

Each year, more than 30,000 people are admitted and about 5000 babies are born at the Women's and Children's Hospital. In addition more than 250,000 people come to the hospital as outpatients.

BloodSafe eLearning Australia (BEA) is a small team which works closely with Digital Media in the Centre for Education and Training, to design and build quality education on patient blood management and safe transfusion practice. Experts contribute their clinical knowledge to ensure courses are evidence-based and aligned with best practice and national guidelines.

New courses are released every year and existing courses regularly updated. All courses include an assessment with a certificate of completion and accrue Continuous Professional Development points. BEA is a real success story for South Australia. Initially the program started as a small state initiative, which was so successful that it became national in 2009 and is now funded by the National Blood Authority. There are now more than 300,000 health care professionals registered with an average 13,000 course completions each month.
