About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to bring in a new Senior Frontend Developer to the team. With a strong foundation built over the last two years, this is an opportunity to join the development of a product that is scaling across Australia.

Strong candidates will bring a combination of technical capability, experience working as a team leader in a startup or early stage business, and an entrepreneurial spirit. You will independently lead software development initiatives applying business acumen and pragmatism to get the job done.

You will overlay technical thinking with an understanding of the product and end customer when designing solutions to meet outcomes. You will demonstrate thought leadership on best software development practices that are cost effective, modern, and fit for purpose.

Finally, you will play a mentorship role with less experienced engineers to assist continuous improvement within the team.

What You'll Bring To The Team

• At least three years’ experience in front-end, writing scalable, reusable code for UI components
• In depth knowledge and experience writing modern Javascript
• Strong understanding of at least one JS framework/library, e.g. React, Vue, Angular (we are using React)
• Great communication, attention to detail, and a focus on user experience
• Understanding of state management (we are using Redux)
• Willingness to learn new technologies
