We currently have a newly created job opportunity for a Front-end Engineer with one of our partners in the 'entertainment' industry. They are making waves amongst their competitors so it's the perfect time to join.

Software Engineering is at the heart of what they do. This role is working in a team that focuses on implementing architectural approaches for new features and refactoring legacy code.

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Focus on big picture and maintainable solutions.
• Leverage your React expertise to build scalable applications.
• By diving into existing code highlight the pitfalls and come up with better implementations.
• Help improve the quality and confidence of a large codebase with tests and performance metrics.
• Communicating and documenting the solutions.

Essential experience required:

• Experience developing web-based applications using React and TypeScript.
• Experience in the architectural concepts behind React, such as: state and data management, hooks, creating a componentised system, styling.
• Experience in testing frameworks (Jest).
• Be self-motived and passionate about quality.
• Be an active collaborator who is eager to get feedback often and early.

Nice Bonus:

• Experience with WebComponent
• VueJS or React Native
• Optimising build tools and working with Webpack
• Experience working with GraphQL
• Contributions to OpenSource libraries
