We currently have an opportunity in our high performing Finance team for an experienced Financial Analyst (Planning) who will be responsible for managing the budget and forecast process for the entire business. You will be joining a close knit, dynamic team with a fantastic culture where you will be challenged and supported to achieve personal and business goals.

As a Financial Analyst working for Kmart you will:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of business forecasts and budget processes on a monthly/annual basis
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of periodic reporting on expenditure against budgets/forecasts
  • Provide financial analysis support to effectively evaluate costs vs benefit opportunities
  • Seek to continuously improve budgeting and forecasting processes and outcomes
  • Plan, implement and manage quarterly cost review reports to drive continuous improvement
  • Support the delivery of strategic finance initiatives
  • A degree in accounting or related discipline
  • Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Experience using SAP, TM1 or OneStream systems would be advantageous
  • Adaptability and ability to drive improvements, handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Solid understanding of executive reporting requirements
  • Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels of an organization
