Description:
The Australian Medical Association Financial Services division is seeking to appoint a Financial Adviser to its team based at the head office in Nedlands.
Responsibilities and Activities:
The Role:
- Provide strategic and trusted advice across a variety of financial products and services (e.g. superannuation including SMSF’s, insurance, investments, debt management, estate planning and cash flow management) to HNW and other medical professionals;
- Proactively identify and act on business opportunities, network and build internal and external relationships to promote services;
- Assisting clients to plan for their financial future via the provision of comprehensive financial planning advice and ongoing services;
- Keep abreast of new industry trends and market research to identify opportunities and support broader in house financial services offering i.e. General Insurance broking and Mortgage Broking with an Accounting & Tax option;
- Comply with all industry rules and regulations;
- Liaise with providers, solicitors and other professionals;
- The Adviser is responsible and accountable for the associated work required to deliver new client business including the preparation and delivery of Statements of Advice (SOA’s). Assistance with back-office administration, SOA’s, appointment making, quotes and will be provided by our team of Financial Planning Assistants
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role with extensive knowledge across all areas of risk and wealth protection
- Confidence to deal with HNW clients and ability to provide a true holistic service
- Highly self-motivated, accountable and focused on meeting business goals and outcomes
- FASEA qualified or working towards requirements ( https://www.fasea.gov.au/ )
- FChFP or CFP qualification (desired)
- Proven experience providing advice under a holistic fee for service model
- Professional communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
- Ability/Willingness to work with in house Marketing and Media team to conduct seminars, webinars, presentations and campaigns on a regular basis.
- Successfully meet the requirements of the Licensee due diligence process.
