Financial Accountant

 

Description:

Joining the Corporate Finance team, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for the general maintenance of the Head Office balance sheet, account reconciliations, invoice coding and P&L cost centre analysis.

Additionally, this role will contribute to the half-year / year-end statutory reporting and internal controls compliance and processes for the Australian Group.

In addition, you will also hold the following:

  • Qualifications in Financial or Management Accounting disciplines
  • Ability to interpret financial information and identity areas of concern
  • Ability to understand key business processes and internal control weaknesses
  • Ability to set own targets and coordinate work plans to ensure success in meeting them
  • Experience in a similar role in a large or complex organisation, ideally within in the health care sector
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • CA / CPA qualifications are desirable
  • Exposure to SAP and/or similar system software desirable
