Description:
As part of our Finance Transformation team, you will design and execute a truly transformative roadmap to transition the Finance function to an integrated systems suite; improving efficiency, 'right first time' processing and reporting, control and governance, and the experience for the Finance team and its stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the current state suite of systems, comprising of systems across three legacy businesses
- Scope the future state requirements for the Finance systems suite, including requirement gathering across business units, gathering, and overlaying user feedback, finalising scope and creating a business case
- Assess potential new systems, identifying risks, issues, and obstacles to create a system shortlist.
- Develop a comprehensive business case for steering committee endorsement, then broader internal approval in IOOF
- Create and run a competitive bid process, liaise with vendors and/or implementation partners
- Create and execute implementation plan including team requirements, licensing, QA, etc.
- Support management, training, and workshop facilitation
- Establish governance and working groups, and governance protocols.
- Manage direct reports alongside the Finance Process Transformation Lead
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Possess
- With your proven project and change management experience, your pragmatism, communication, and time-management skills will be second to none. You will also need to have:
- Robust information-technology understanding, including systems security and data integrity
- Strong understanding of major ERP providers relevant to IOOF's values and scale
- Appreciation for effective finance processes, controls, and systems
- Confidence in the ability to question the status quo, while also being open to new ways of working
- Effective people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, challenge and support direct reports
- Desirable: A tertiary degree or qualification in a related field, Project Management qualification, and/or CA/CPA qualification
