Finance Support Officer

We are a dynamic, multifaceted business seeking a Finance Support Officer, with passion and drive to support the business.

Your new role

This role reports to MIGA’s Finance Manager, and is responsible for:

• Control of Accounts Payables
• Supporting month end reporting
• Bank reconciliations
• Reinsurance and Government recoveries
• General ledger journal and reconciliations
• Statutory returns
• Monitoring of Accounts Receivable
• Fixed asset management

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• A minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a finance support role
• Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Ability to undertake administrative tasks including the use of data bases
• Strong attention to detail
• Accurate data entry skills
• Cert IV or Associate Diploma in Accounting or similar qualification
