About The Role

We currently have a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Finance Solution Lead.

The primary purpose of the role is to act as a functional owner for an in-house-built Financial Forecasting system within AGL’s Integrated Energy business. Scope includes capturing business requirements, leading system development process, building tools, and self-serve reports to provide in-depth analysis and interpretation of the financial performance for the Trading and Origination portfolio. The role will also strive to implement continuous improvement initiatives within the financial forecasting process across Integrated Energy.

What You’ll Be Doing
 

• Define and articulate the product vision and prioritization for system development and enhancement, and by being the primary liaison back to your development team by continuously validating the backlog of initiatives in accordance with business objectives through engagement with business stakeholders, program sponsors and the product management team
• Effectively manage, evaluate and inspect your product as it progresses through the Software Development life-cycle
• Track, measure and analyze the performance of MVPs and future releases
• Partner with IT and third-party vendors to product manage the on-time and on-budget delivery of development initiatives
• Develop Framework, Tools and System to deliver robust, standardized and reliable approach to analytics and reporting and manage enhancements to IT systems and procedures as necessary
• Proactively contributing to the future direction of business processes, technology strategy and investments in technology
