The role
Assist in the management and delivery of effective and professional financial services throughout North West Hospital and Health Service.
The asset officer is responsible for the asset management function including procurement, maintenance and disposal of health services' physical assets and provision of advice on matters relating to asset management reporting.
Requirements
 

  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
  • Experience in a health care system or equivalent large organisation is desirable.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful candidate; this may include criminal history checks, aged care checks and Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role compliance. VPD risk roles may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis, and COVID-19. A 3-month period of probation may apply.
