The opportunity/team

We are seeking an experienced Operations Finance Manager to join our team based at Ridge Street, Bega NSW.

Reporting to the Group Manager-Operations Finance, the main purpose of this role is to maintain and enhance financial analysis of the site and drive improvement in reporting. In addition, this role will be a major contributor to the financial success of the site, providing financial insight, analysis and support to key decisions.

The role will maintain intimate knowledge of the financial performance of the site and will work closely with the Site Manager and Group Manager-Operations Finance to maintain tight financial control and materially improve performance over time. This is a full time, permanent position.

Additionally, you will have:

 

• A tertiary Qualification in Finance, Accounting or a similar discipline with CA/CPA accreditation
• Strong commercial/analytical experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing/dairy/FMCG environment with comprehensive understanding of standard product costings systems and inventory valuation adjustments
• Ability to analyse key operational and financial trends across the business
• Strong project management experience with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Experience with multi-dimensional analysis tools
• Ability to manage large volumes of data and develop models to manipulate data efficiently
