Finance Controller

Description:

As the Financial Controller you will be leading key areas within the finance function and providing overall oversight and accountability for the production of accurate financial results, and management of the underlying financial processes, controls and operations. This is a pivotal position which will support the Chief Financial Officer and key university stakeholders by leading key finance initiatives and role modelling the University’s finance values in order to meet the strategic goals of the finance team.

This position is a pivotal role within the finance team and will suit a motivated, driven and forward-thinking finance professional who has the ability and knowledge to interpret information and apply provide guidance to meet its strategic goals and regulatory requirements.

• Extensive knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements
• Demonstrated ability to use evidence and innovative thinking to solve significant organisational challenges
• Experience of driving change, delivering operational excellence and embedding process and control improvements into finance and business operations
• Demonstrated ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders, including at senior levels regarding significant and/or complex issues
