In this role, you will facilitate the introduction and development of financial skills and processes that will assist business units in developing continued financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake a partnering approach to providing financial planning and analysis advice to Directors, Managers and their teams.
  • Undertake and support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the directorate and organisation. Including monitoring key internal and external drivers of performance and analysing the financial impact of emerging priorities, key risks and opportunities.
  • Providing financial advice and decision analysis support for initiatives including structure and service reviews, process improvements, cost management initiatives and business cases. This will include monitoring and reporting on the achievement of benefits from organisational initiatives.
  • Providing financial training including induction of finance systems, awareness and understanding of management accounting principles and processes.
