Finance Analyst

Description:

A newly created opportunity with an Australian Commercial Law Firm – an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. They are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to work closely with senior stakeholders in providing analysis to track and improve financial performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Analysing current and past financial data, preparing reports on the information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider business
• Budget preparation annually for revenue and costs
• Forecast preparation for revenue and costs on a quarterly basis
• Consulting with Practice Group Leaders to develop business plans
• Developing financial models for pricing of legal services
• Preparing reports for clients and internal departments on performance
• Reporting on performance metrics of staff
• Developing financial models for measuring profitability for clients/matters
• Any other reasonable duties as provided by the Senior Finance Manager

You will have:

• CPA qualified or plans to undertake the course
• Advanced knowledge in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced computer software skills including Excel
• Demonstrated strong commercial acumen
