Description:
A newly created opportunity with an Australian Commercial Law Firm – an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. They are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to work closely with senior stakeholders in providing analysis to track and improve financial performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Analysing current and past financial data, preparing reports on the information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider business
- Budget preparation annually for revenue and costs
- Forecast preparation for revenue and costs on a quarterly basis
- Consulting with Practice Group Leaders to develop business plans
- Developing financial models for pricing of legal services
- Preparing reports for clients and internal departments on performance
- Reporting on performance metrics of staff
- Developing financial models for measuring profitability for clients/matters
- Any other reasonable duties as provided by the Senior Finance Manager
You will have:
- CPA qualified or plans to undertake the course
- Advanced knowledge in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced computer software skills including Excel
- Demonstrated strong commercial acumen
