Description:
Mamamia is seeking a talented Executive Producer to oversee the entire production process for Australia's number #1 news and pop culture show; Mamamia Out Loud. This role requires a skilled leader with excellent news sense who can ensure seamless planning and execution.
You'll work across departments to deliver a comprehensive 360-degree strategy, promoting content across our written and social formats and building engaged communities. The ideal candidate will be excellent at engaging audiences and maximising content reach.
You'll also work closely with our podcast talent on the direction of the show, diving into analytics and insights to provide feedback and continual improvement. Additionally, you'll manage commercial partnerships, explore opportunities for audience and subscription growth, and identify ways to scale, cross-promote, and expand our reach.

Here's what you can expect to be doing in this role if you join us:
Oversee all aspects of the show, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across various platforms and mediums to maximise the show's growth.
Use your news sense to work quickly on content decisions, overseeing research and scripting for fast-moving, news-adjacent content
Oversee the complete video and audio production process, ensuring episodes meet the highest standards
Identify and implement opportunities for cross-promotion across the network and beyond.
Work in collaboration with the strategy and audio sales teams to identify and drive new sponsorship and partnership opportunities
Manage existing commercial partnerships and explore new opportunities for audience and revenue growth
Establish and implement clear production workflows and guidelines for consistency and quality
Ensure video and audio recordings adhere to industry technical and production broadcast standards
Build and nurture engaged communities around the podcast, fostering a strong connection with the audience.
Brief social and written content teams to optimise marketing opportunities for each episode
Coordinate and oversee approvals for show sponsorships
Identify and implement opportunities for cross-promotion across the network
Track show performance, AU and global downloads, unique audience metrics, and utilise insights to improve show quality
Flag higher risk content, monitor compliance issues, ensure sponsorship messaging is delivered
