Executive Manager Engineering Services

Description:

The Executive Manager Engineering Services is a member of the Shire of Merredin’s Executive Team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

In this role you will lead all the traditional infrastructure and engineering services functions such as road construction and parks and gardens, however, your background means you will bring to the table a broader organisational leadership capability - working collaboratively with the Executive and Council to lead the development of our CBD redevelopment project and a number of new sustainability initiatives.

The organisation is in an exciting period of developing and renewing our public spaces, and this role will be critical to our success. We are seeking someone that can lead significant engagement both internally and externally to the organisation, while leading the team to successfully deliver its project and service commitments.

Applicants should have a demonstrated track record of success in engineering or technical services, preferably in the Government sector. If you feel you don’t quite meet the criteria, but have transferrable skills, please reach out for a confidential conversation.
