Description:
As a part of the Consumer Division within Westpac, the purpose of the Business Controls, Monitoring and Remediation (BCM) team is to ensure effective risk management practices across the Division. This is a leadership role in the Regulatory Coordination team within the Consumer Division.
You will partner with key senior stakeholders to provide advice on strategic initiatives and programs to reduce risk exposure and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements. Where relevant you will lead Consumer’s response on regulatory and risk matters. It is an expectation of this role that you promote a strong risk culture that embodies our ethics and integrity, balancing commercial and customer needs.
