About the Opportunity

The School of Science offers teaching and research facilities that are world-class, offering courses in computing, security, cybersecurity, science and the environment.

The Executive Dean, School of Science is a member of the University Executive and plays a key role in developing and contributing to the strategic direction of the University. The position will lead the ongoing development and direction of the School, enhancing the University’s domestic and international reputation for learning and teaching, research and industry engagement, to support ECU’s exceptional educational experience.

This position reports to the Vice-Chancellor and works in close collaboration with the Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor (SDVC), other members of the University Executive (including other Executive Deans), and other key leadership roles across the University.

You are a recognised PhD qualified Professor with an outstanding record of scholarship in a relevant discipline.
