OASIS restaurants offer a unique style of Middle Eastern inspired hospitality. It's sleek venue in Fairfield not only offers a cafe and retail space, but an 80-seat events venue overlooking the rooftops of Fairfield.

We currently have a position for a proactive, innovative and seasoned Events Sales Coordinator. This role will be diverse and pivotal to support a thriving and agile business, like Oasis.

The Events Coordinator will be the customer face of the business in more ways than one, this role will be answering all enquiries that come into the business and will be responsible for directing those calls, including managing and engaging the local community to bring their business to us.

Not only will you have a passion for food and the food industry, but love the interaction with customers and going the extra mile to ensure each customer's interaction is met with prompt service and willingness to help.

Following last year’s lockdowns, a track record of increasing sales by implementing an innovative event sales strategy is a high priority. The Fairfield venue is adaptable, and its uses will only be defined by your imagination.

In addition to taking incoming calls, and directing these calls you will be coordinating external catering for both the Murrumbeena and Fairfield venues, liaising with the production kitchen to ensure timely delivery and/or pick up.

Your key capabilities will include;

• Ability to conceptualisation, develop and implement event initiatives for OASIS
• Identify event opportunities through data analysis, sales trends and customer feedback
• Manage the development, quality control and production of all event packages and customer briefs
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through new business development
• Work with key stakeholders on menu design
• Managing all events end to end
• Provide attentive, timely and personalised customer service
• Develop and maintain a customer database
• Produce and submit monthly sales reports.

We offer you a role that will be based at Fairfield 3 days a week approximately 15-20 hours per week, since the position requires you to take incoming calls you will have the security of work regardless of the circumstances surrounding lockdowns in Victoria.
