This role requires strong stakeholder management with a proven track record in delivering a mix of both in-person, e.g., conferences, awards; digital broadcast; and hybrid events. This role will require you to be onsite at the events and include travel within NSW.
You will have strong technical skills and experience with online events, working with external providers, venues, and suppliers in helping deliver a new breed of events.
In addition, you will develop, coordinate and deliver effective event communications. You will be organised, adaptable to changing timeframes and able to change complex information into plain English to ensure event communications are clear, balanced and accessible to businesses, industry groups and the community.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits more specifically in our Office of the Chief Executive. The Office of the Chief Executive drives the key priorities across SIRA.

  • Strategic event planning and delivery of events for the organisation. This includes leadership conferences, all staff in-person events, hybrid town-hall meetings, and awards.
  • Stakeholder liaison, sourcing venues, suppliers, and leading operations onsite, including speaker and stakeholder management.
  • Develop events communications and liaise with internal teams promote events and support organisational outcomes.
  • Prepare accurate and polished briefs ahead of events, and contribute to video presentations and communications to internal and external stakeholders across multiple channels to ensure key messages reach and engage the intended audience
  • Develop and provide reports and metrics on a regular basis, including budget tracking, community engagement and lists, satisfactions scorecards and internal feedback about event engagement activities.
  • Contribute to the planning and design of communications and engagement strategies to enable effective execution across multiple channels and evaluation of strategies to support the business to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes
