Environmental Consultant

Description:

Arcadis is looking for a Senior Environment Consultant to work and deliver on a diverse range of infrastructure projects in Victoria and collaborate with teams in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.

In this role you will have the great opportunity to-

• Play a senior role in a growing team of passionate environment, planning and sustainability professionals;
• Work and deliver environmental approvals, environmental compliance and planning permits of infrastructure projects including transport infrastructure, energy and waste;
• Manage projects including commercial aspects, deliverables, resourcing and timelines;
• Provide support and contribute to the development of junior team members;
• Work collaboratively in the preparation of proposals; and
• Identify opportunities for client development.

Qualifications


Who are we looking for?


First and foremost, you are someone who values and enjoys working within a supportive, people-focused culture. You are an energetic individual with relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering or science and come to us with-

• Extensive experience delivering environmental management and compliance and/or environmental impact assessment studies and regulatory approvals applications on infrastructure projects in Victoria
• Knowledge of Victorian and Commonwealth environmental legislation and planning policy
• A track record in delivering high-quality work, contributing to a positive team culture and building client relationships
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets.
