ConsultANZ Civil Engineering is looking for Environment & Sustainability Advisor.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and manage operational activities regarding the environment and sustainability
- Ensure compliance with company, legal and stakeholder requirements
- Conduct site inspections and auditing of operational activities against environmental permits
- Assisting and working with the project team
- Giving advice and guidance to management and other branches of the business on environmental and sustainability issues on the project
- Develop plans to prevent, control and improve environmental and sustainability issues within the network
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science/management, engineering or similar
- Demonstrated experience in the civil or construction industry
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of the environment and understanding of the environment and sustainability
- Curiosity and passion for the environment and sustainability, particularly in a civil construction environment
- Experience with sustainable design implementation
- A technical understanding of sustainability principles, especially within a construction or engineering environment
