Our client is seeking an Enterprise Business Intelligence Manager to lead the establishment of an enterprise-wide business intelligence function. This pivotal role combines technical expertise, strategic leadership, and business acumen, aiming to enhance capabilities in data analytics and reporting. You will be instrumental in developing strategies that align with growth objectives while fostering collaboration across departments to better serve client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the enterprise business intelligence strategy aligned with strategic goals.
- Lead the establishment of a Centre of Expertise for business intelligence across the organisation.
- Design and execute analytics solutions, including data visualisations and reporting tools using Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and ensure data integrity.
- Manage external vendor relationships for data requirements.
- Oversee budget management for BI functions.
- Build a high-performing team focused on achieving goals and fostering a client-centric culture.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with a leadership focus.
- Proven track record in establishing and delivering enterprise BI functions within complex environments.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and managed fund concepts.
- Expertise in business analysis, data management, and best practices for information governance.
- Advanced skills in data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and programming languages (SQL, Python, R).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
