Our Water team, based in Newcastle, is looking for an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineer, with a passion for the Water sector more broadly, and keen to explore options in this multidisciplinary and dynamic team. Within this 30 strong group of Engineers, Designers and Drafters, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of local projects seeking to safeguard the future of water across the Hunter region, whilst being connected with a global business with over 5,000 professionals crafting their career in Water.

You’ll find yourself working on real world projects once you start across the broader project lifecycle; from strategy and planning, through to concept and detail design.

Working with a blend of remote and office-based work, you’ll be based out of our Newcastle office where the office environment includes a strong cohort of graduates and other early career professionals – you’re sure to find your tribe once you start.

What will you do in the role?

• Water and wastewater network planning & modelling
• Design of Pipelines & Pumping stations
• Civil & Hydraulic design of water & wastewater treatment plants
• Assisting in writing and submission of tenders & proposals
• Connect in with a wider team of professionals to share insights, knowledge and improve your overall technical capabilities

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is studying for a degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering (graduating late 2022)
• Is passionate about the Water industry
• Has connections to the Newcastle & Hunter region
• Strong communication skills
• Any prior experience in an engineering environment, especially with Water, will be highly regarded.
