We are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Coordinator to join our International Supply Chain (ISC) team based primarily in Wembley with some travel to Malaga required.
You will be working alongside a fantastic team of highly skilled individuals to deliver site specific solutions to our clients. This will entail a range of activities that will keep you engaged and present great opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Duties of this role include;
- Delivering a range of engineering and production support services against challenging deadlines, lean resources and competing priorities
- Provide a line of communication between ISC, Production Team and Suppliers
- Estimating costs and timelines
- Making improvements to existing processes, material, etc
- Implementing solutions and designs
- Communicate all parties to improve Before In Service (BIS) quality matters to minimise the BIS cost for rectification
- Process Product Improvement Form (PIF) requests from other department within UON, communicate with supplier and ensure the improvement is completed in a timely manner
- Process Warranty with all related parties within a timely manner
- Support ISC Senior Engineering manager for all order processing, engineering requirement and documentation
- Create and manage Parts Inventory System and communicate with all parties
- Process Parts, Small Orders with all related parties in a timely manner
- Process Purchase Orders for any ISC Department requirement
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Be willing to undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by management from time to time.
- Identify and develop process improvement opportunities to further team capabilities
- Ensure appropriate KPIs and reports are developed, communicated and monitored to ensure the effectiveness of QA, BIS, PIF
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or Equivalent
- A minimum of 2-3 years Industry Experience
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- The ability to work inclusively with a positive attitude
- A strong safety focus and company orientation
- A valid WA driver’s license
