A Snapshot
As Energy Management Specialist reporting to our Energy Management Lead, you will work closely with our Technology team, making an impact in a number of ways:
- Support customer technical responses for projects across the APJ portfolio
- Champion energy and water modelling of mechanical and electrical solutions to be rolled out at AirTrunk sites
- Support the planet pillar of AirTrunk's sustainability commitments across various functions of the business
- Assist in leading energy and water efficiency initiatives alongside operations teams
Your Day to Day
- Build and develop PUE and WUE modelling tools to reflect AirTrunk's leading energy and water efficiency solutions
- Involvement in innovation of technical solutions and potential optimisation of operational systems, including assessment of potential benefits
- Maintain and improve existing, and develop new reporting and tracking tools for measurement of key efficiency metrics
- Scope, agree and implement performance improvement programmes with customers subject to their requirements
- Validation of operational energy and water efficiency performance of equipment against vendor data and design models
- Ability to assess and demonstrate bigger picture OPEX and carbon emissions impacts of energy and water initiatives
- Shape SLA definitions on PUE, WUE and associated cost pass through
- Collaborate with treasury team to provide guidance around development and reporting of industry leading ESG commitments as part of AirTrunk's SLL's
Requirements
- Engineering degree required (ideally mechanical or electrical)
- Experience in analysing trends in data in construction, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing or similar industries
- Competency in Excel and PowerBI
- Ability to effectively communicate with other business departments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptionally flexible, forward-thinking and motivated by change
