Our team works as a well-integrated national team, with our leading Employment Tax Specialists based across each State of Australia. You will have the opportunity to work with Australian-based and multinational clients across the country, therefore offering you the ability to work with large corporates, and a diverse range of industries. In this role, you’ll predominantly work on advisory and compliance matters, with training, coaching and support available to help grow your career even further!

 

The Role:

As our Employment Tax Manager/Senior Manager, you’ll:
 

  • Be part of a national management team, and inspiring a team of junior staff across the country;
  • Help clients plan for, and manage all aspects of employment tax, including: Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Termination payments and Salary Packaging;
  • Manage large projects with multiple stakeholders, whilst acting as the key client contact on engagements;
  • Utilise technology and big data to assist clients on employment tax compliance and draw insights;
  • Liaise directly with clients and other regulatory authorities (e.g. Australian Taxation Office, etc.) in the delivery of data projects;
  • Review of annual FBT returns, payroll tax returns, superannuation guarantee calculations or other similar deliverables, as prepared or reviewed by team members;
  • Prepare & present training seminars to both clients and team members.
     

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in employment tax, responsible for delivering employment tax compliance, income tax consulting and/or employment tax consulting services to large multinational organisations;
  • Excellent MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, with strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work both autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Confidence in handling data, with proven data analytic skills;
  • Commitment to excellence in client service, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Experience with automation of tax processes [desirable, but not mandatory].
