Employment Coach

Description:

As a Disability Employment Services (DES) Coach, you will actively engage with participants to identify the skills and potential barriers to employment of each individual, and work with them to achieve their tailored employment goals. SYC delivers employment services at over 50 locations throughout Australia, and you’ll be based in Bayside, though you may be required to travel for the role.

Day To Day Activities Will Include

In this role, you’ll be part of a supportive and result driven team who are dedicated to our vision of wellbeing, independence and opportunity for DES job seekers.

• Market participants to employers to achieve sustainable employment outcomes
• Ensure timely referral to employment opportunities, vocational training, employment activities and non-vocational programs
• Develop and maintain professional knowledge of and provide advice on areas including but not necessarily limited to the Disability Employment Services Contract, the local labour market and local support services.
• Provide thorough Post Placement Support to employers and participants

For This Role, You Will Need To

• Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
• Have a current and valid driver's licence and your own registered vehicle with a 4 or 5 star ANCAP safety rating
• Be eligible to work in Australia
