The Hospital
This hospital provides multi-disciplinary health services to a growing population of over 46,000 across the SE of Victoria. In response to an increase in population growth in the region over the last ten years, is continually increasing its capacity to service the needs of the community. The hospital incorporates a long-established hospital with 51 acute beds, 20 sub-acute/rehabilitation beds, HDU, modern theatre suite, emergency department, 5 bed short stay unit, palliative care and maternity services. Day services include a 9 bed Day Procedure Unit, a newly built 10 chair Oncology/Medical Ambulatory Day Unit and a 9 chair Dialysis Unit
In addition to acute care, this hospital also provides core services through a 90 bed Aged Care facility, full-range of Allied Health Services, Medical Outpatient Services, Home Based Services, including Hospital in the Home, Community Health and a CBD campus offering the community easy access to Maternity Care and a selection of Medical Imaging Services.

The Role
Full time ongoing position. As an senior medical officer/ senior registrar in the emergency medicine department you will work within a multidisciplined team withing the ED department Reporting to the clinical director. Nights in Charge. Flexible start for the right doctor.
The Requirements
You must have a minimum of 12 months recent emergency medicine experience ideally in Australia although ED experience from NZ, UK, Ireland and Canada will also be considered or
