We have an exciting opportunity available for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our growing Parts and Overhauls team. Working within this close-knit team, you will support the maintenance, repairs and overhauls of Train and Tram Fleets from across Australia. This is a permanent role, based in Ballarat and working a 36 hour work across 4 days (Tuesday to Friday).

We’ll look to you for:
 

• Performing equipment repairs and overhauls.
• Troubleshooting, functional testing and commissioning of rail equipment.
• Performing self-Inspection of railway car components in order to identify defects and ensure quality.
• Working closely with support functions to identify and propose suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Organising work instruction documents, tools and railway car parts daily.

• A demonstrated ability to interpret technical diagrams and drawings.
• Experience in rail equipment/fleet maintenance will be highly regarded.
• Certificate III Electrotechnology.
• A current A Grade Electrical Licence.
