About The Role

You will lead a team of permanent employees supplemented by contractors and specialists and be responsible for managing the electrical maintenance programs and tasks in the processing plant, ensuring maintenance activities are completed in a safe, efficient and effective manner. Through your leadership, your team will maximise the amount of scheduled maintenance and minimise the impact of unscheduled works, reviewing and changing maintenance actions to achieve this where necessary.

Being the single point of contact for your team, setting clear expectations and providing on the job monitoring, short interval control and troubleshooting for large groups of people.

Resolving resourcing and short term issues for your team.

About You

• An Electrical Trade Qualification is required together with significant post trade experience.
• Experience in a maintenance supervisory position.
• Be eligible for appointment as an electrical supervisor under MSIR
• Maintenance experience in a complex processing or heavy industrial plant.
• Sound understanding of maintenance work management processes and experience with managing maintenance work utilising a CMMS system.
• Experience with developing employees and managing interpersonal relationships.
• Certificate of Frontline Management or equivalent.
• Motivated, dynamic, organised, disciplined and responsible.
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
