Electrical Engineering Graduate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Electrical Engineering Graduate to join our team. The purpose of this role is to assist in the provision of specialist technical electrical engineering advice to facilitate efficient and timely project delivery.

The role is a permanent full-time position based in Sydney, with an attractive remuneration package.

The key responsibilities of the role are to:

– gain industry experience and knowledge to develop personal and organisational capability
– assist in the provision of expert technical electrical engineering advice and provide support to Rail Planning Services’ senior staff
– provide electrical input to staging logic, construction staging diagrams, construction matrices, p6 schedules and reports
– participate in stakeholder consultation, workshops and other forums required for project development
– assist in developing offers of service
– maintain records of relevant work undertaken with aim of gaining Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
– obtain and maintain Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
– obtain and maintain Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card
– complete other assigned tasks consistent with skill set and capability.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be excited to work in the transport sector and have:

– Electrical Engineering degree
– some experience in the rail sector (preferred, but not essential).
