Description:

  • Deliver and maintain fit for purpose Electrical Control Systems and Infrastructure.
  • Provide site-wide direction for Electrical and Control Systems standards and equipment.
  • Act as subject matter expert for the electrical department.
  • Provide technical support to asset management, operations, and maintenance teams.
  • Possess strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards, Acts and Regulations.
  • Testing, Commissioning and, Decommissioning equipment on an on-going basis.
  • Sound understanding of automation, Scada and programming with RMC, CITEC, Control Logix and Allen Bradley.
  • Ability to trouble shoot, diagnose and integrate programming solutions.
  • An absolute commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Proficient knowledge of Electrical standards, drawings, and specifications.
  • Design, document and deliver technical projects.
  • Identify and recommend production optimisation initiatives
  • Dynamic real-time problem-solving skills.

  • Working with key Maintenance & Operational teams, drive tactical improvement projects through PLC optimization to de-bottleneck and deliver maximum returns to the business through enhancing leading-edge technology capabilities.
  • Critically analyse manufacturing processes to identify the opportunity for improvement.
  • Ensure an ongoing focus on lifecycle product costs, process efficiency, and innovation.
  • Work with operations personnel to lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis and Investigations.
  • Provide technical support and deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Work with project team to ensure all project work runs efficiently.
  • Provide coaching to team members to increase overall capability of the team
