Educational Design Support Officer

THE ROLE

The Educational Design Support Officer is an essential position towards heightening levels of support and training to Macquarie University staff members and students, who use key learning management systems and other education technologies.

In this role, you will provide specialised support and advice to staff members through the preparation of internal guidelines for Learning and Teaching (L&T) support staff. You will also collaborate and closely work with education specialists to triage and escalate support requests efficiently. You will greatly contribute towards university-wide L&T by documenting operational tasks for key system support, gathering and reporting on data to identify and improve the development of self-help resources and training for staff, and coaching staff in university learning technologies clinics.

This role is pivotal towards the goal of timely supporting both staff and students with various inquiries across the University when utilising our educational systems and technologies.
