Warrior IT is looking for Education Specialist Technician
Essential (Must Have) Requirements:
- Must hold or be eligible for a Victorian Working with Children Check
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Server OS and related services including:
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- DHCP
- DNS
- Permissions
- Proven experience administering Hyper-V or comparable virtualisation solutions and being able to explain VMs hosted on-premises and VMs hosted in the cloud.
- Proven experience supporting and administering both Windows 10/11 and Mac OS will be highly regarded.
- Must have high-level written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience working within the IT industry
- Previous experience working within Education or similar Government institutions are favoured
- Certifications and experience relating to IT Security are favoured
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the school IT Team Lead in the day-to-day operations of their server and network infrastructure.
- Assist with the planning and deployment of future ICT rollouts, refreshes, and migrations.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues relating to all things ICT within the organisation.
- Provide high-level desktop/server/network/application support to staff via the Help Desk portal.
- Assist with the creation of documentation and the delivery of ICT training to our end users.
