Education And Experience Coordinator

Description:

The Education & Experience Coordinator will lead the development and implementation of education programs and experiences within the Early Start Discovery Space. This will involve leading the development and evaluation of public programs, school excursions and also supporting the creation of new Encounters and Experiences for the Discovery Space floor in consultation with relevant staff.
The role entails working with early childhood, primary school and other professionals working with children and families to promote and develop Discovery Space utilisation within the community. Additionally, the Education and Experience Coordinator will liaise with Early Start researchers to embed contemporary research, theory and best practice into all programs delivered in the Discovery Space. The coordinator will train Educators in the delivery of the various programs and work closely with the Floor Supervisor to implement these programs. This position will operate as a Floor Supervisor when required.
