Description:
The eCommerce Manager is a business critical role, responsible for building a lot of the Ecomm strategies and processes from scratch in startup phase, then managing and optimising the ecomm site from go live with a major focus on improving our efficiency, performance and customer experience.
What you are going to be doing:
- Management and ownership of our Shopify website and related ecomm tech stack
- Maintaining our site so that we always provide current information about our brand, products, promotions, policies and shipping.
- Optimising and enhancing website conversion rates and average order value through pop-ups, offers and site speed improvements.
- Optimise split testing for website page designs, including landing pages, product pages and general conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
- Optimise the D2C purchasing experience to improve our customer experience through various tools such as order confirmation and shipping/delivery communication.
- Manage multiple website application integrations including headless CMS tool (tbd), Klaviyo, Facebook, Google and Zendesk.
- Upload new products and bundles to the website.
- Monitor and analyse website performance through Google analytics.
- Project manage website design changes and other optimisation projects with internal and external teams.
- Lead Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) projects.
- You live and breathe ecomm, with bonus points for being a Shopify extraordinaire, and you are able to manage anything and everything including product launches, promotions, launching new sites, landing pages, app integrations, pricing and product availability
- You have strong knowledge of the martech stack for ecomm including headless CMS platforms, onsite personalisation tools, Ecomm Site search, digital asset management tool and website analytics, and can lead the implementation and management of this tech
- CRO experience is a must. - you know how to optimise the purchase funnel for conversion
- You’ve had a similar hands on role where you juggled the day to day tasks whilst troubleshooting and managing optimisation projects
- You’re highly analytical and you know how to use tech to solve business challenges
- You’ve got solid experience with systems such as CRM tools (i.e Klaviyo), Google Analytics, G Suite and web analytics tools (i.e Hotjar etc).
- You have a startup mentality - you are always agile with a general willingness to ‘work it out’ on the fly
