VetPartners is looking for ECC Vet Nurse.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Apply and adapt your clinical nursing skills to an emergency and critical care focused caseload, including but not limited to, blood transfusion therapy, mechanical ventilation, advanced catheterisation techniques (central, PICC and arterial), advanced monitoring, and triage/stabilisation of the emergency patient
- Work directly with ECC specialist, ECC speciality intern and ECC OOH vets and focus on delivering high-end patient care
- Use of Smart Flow system to assess and record patient vitals, identify and report abnormalities.
- Work as an integral part of the team in contributing to and partaking in continuing professional development.
Essential criteria:
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) and preferably a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.Alternatively, if you dont hold a formal qualification, you will need to have a minimum of 4 years of employment experience.
- Be willing to learn and develop advanced nursing skills
- Ability to work well within a close-knit team and adapt to changing work environments and schedules
