Your main areas of responsibility will include:
- Develop and implement on-site category and merchandising strategies, aligned to the product strategy to optimise product assortment, drive sales, increase conversion rate and improve customer engagement
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Creative teams to create compelling digital campaigns and promotional content that align with merchandising strategy and to understand the end-to-end consumer journey and how to improve the digital shopping experience for the consumer
- Analyse data and utilize insights to improve website performance, including sales, conversion rates, and customer engagement, to inform content development and on-page optimizations
- Manage internal search and navigation, ensuring that products are easily discoverable, targeted and that the search experience is optimized for customer needs
- Develop and execute A/B testing plans to optimize content and on-site feature/functionality to enhance customer experience, site performance and drive conversion rates
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a track record of driving growth and improving the customer experience
- Ability to analyse data to make informed decisions, think strategically, and deliver through tactical execution
- Energy to persevere when systems and structures are in constant change
- Experience with ecommerce platforms and technologies, including internal search, A/B testing, promotions and campaigns, and category management
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions
- Passion for eCommerce and a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and best practices
