Drainer

Description:

Civmec are currently seeking experienced Drainers to join the team working across various construction and maintenance projects.

The Role

Installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
Excavate and level to line, depth and grade according to drawings and specifications;
Set out and install below ground concrete and PVC sanitary and storm-water pipes;
Carry out site drainage and dewatering procedures, employing storm-water, sub-soil and pumped systems;
Test drainage systems;
Locate and clear blockages in below ground systems;
Install excavation supports in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements;
Dig trenches to desired, or required depths by hand or using trenching tools or machinery.
The ability to interpret and fabricate using isometric drawing to the required standards and specifications
Complete ITP’s and follow quality control systems and techniques including daily fit up reports.
Mark and record joint and spool numbers including material heat numbers
