Domestic Services Assistant

Description:

Our Support Services department ensures the Health Service environment is maintained in a clean, hygienic and pleasant state, maintains the linen and laundry services, providing excellent customer service at our Café, as well as preparing food trolleys, plating and serving of food to patients, residents and staff.

As a member of the Support Services team, whilst it is not expected that you work across all areas, you will have the opportunity to work in Cleaning Services, Laundry, Kitchen and Café. The appointee will contribute to the overall performance of the team, consistent with Kyabram District Health Service’s purpose and values. .

About You
 

• Food Handlers Safety certificate
• Ability to work within aged care
• Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on customer service
• Ability to work to time schedules
• Physical ability to undertake manual handling duties
• Ability to follow routine daily work schedules with limited supervision and working knowledge of OH & S responsibilities
• Sound understanding of the English language
• Must be available to work weekends and public holidays, mornings, afternoons and evenings
