Distribution Engineer

Strong growth within our Power business has created an opportunity for an experienced Distribution Engineer/Designer to join a dynamic and professional team. The focus of the role will be to undertake the engineering and design of power distribution systems within the Power Group in the Perth office.

Working closely with key clients, broader Power group and our multi-disciplinary team, you will be working on:

• Feasibility studies and network investigations
• Concept designs and cost estimates
• Detailed engineering design for range of overhead and underground solutions
• Preparation of engineering design reports
• Quality Assurance checks for other team members

What you will bring to the team

• Minimum 5 years distribution design experience working in a consultancy or utility environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated delivery of complex overhead & underground network solutions, including customer connections
• Strong understanding of Western Power/Horizon Power technical standards and Western Australian Electrical Requirements
• Proficient in the use of Microstation or AutoCAD
• Poles & Wires experience and application of AS/NZS 7000
• PLS-CADD and PLS-Pole experience desirable
• High level of Quality Assurance
• Experience in completing site inspections
