Sydney Metro is Australia's biggest public transport project and first fully-automated metro rail network, connecting customers and transforming the way Sydney travels. The opportunity

This newly created role will manage the office of, and provide strategic support and advice to, the Head of Legal, Probity, Internal Audit (LPIA) and General Counsel at Sydney Metro. With a strong focus on relationships, the role will manage and lead the Head’s activities, which will include strategic organisational management, divisional leadership and external governance.

You will:

• Lead and manage the Office of the LPIA & P&C team and provide timely, high-quality advice and support to the Head of LPIA & General Council and other leadership groups.

• Lead, on behalf of the Head of LPIA and GC, the implementation of Sydney Metro’s internal governance framework

• Identify and manage governance and business issues that affect the management of the Division

• Coordinate business planning processes for the Division

• Oversee accurate and detailed budget and forecast cash flow reports

• Monitor internal and external events to identify and follow up on matters of interest or relevance to projects and initiative action as required

• Act as a thought leader

• Apply Transport aspirational culture, five ways of leading and values united in the delivery of integrated planning frameworks and associated plans aligned with TfNSW business strategy, and Government goals
