Description:

As Director for Solution Engineering, you will be responsible for developing a team of Solution Consultants (SC’s) to support the growth of our ANZ Business. You will work directly in partnership with the Vice President of sales and their teams to build confidence and trust with our customers, and liaise with numerous internal teams as a key knowledge sharer of product expertise. With a proven track record in recruiting, developing and retaining a dedication team of technology presales professionals, you will also bring strong technical, business, and operational skill to drive and influence the building of a category. You will have experience in the planning and execution of a regional solution consulting, engineering, and/or technology presales regional business across industry based domains, territory and/or targeted GTM segments. You will bring a clear demonstration of improve cross functional business unit alignment and achievement with a 'One Team' philosophy.

This is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director, Solution Engineering - APJ.

Responsibility
 

• Manage day to day Solutions Consulting, working with the Enterprise and Majors Sales teams
• Scale the team including recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring to grow a well-balanced and high performing team
• Provide guidance and mentoring to help the team refine technical, sales, presentation and customer engagement skills
• Provide coaching and direction towards attaining key performance goals
• Drive collaboration with internal partners including Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Product Development, Customer Support and others
• Drive team collaboration and effectiveness by continually assessing team operations and making adjustments or policy recommendations
