Description:
The Director, Strategic Communications will lead internal and external communications at Charles Sturt University. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced communications leader to make a meaningful impact by leading and delivering a whole of organisation communications strategy.
Lead a team of dedicated communications professionals and work closely with a range of senior stakeholders at the University to support the delivery of our strategic and cultural objectives.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Engagement and Enterprise, you will be supported and empowered to make meaningful change in this role.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have significant communications leadership experience. Demonstrated success leading and implementing large-scale communications change is essential. Related experience within the higher education sector will be highly regarded, however is not essential.
To be successful in the role you will be an empathetic leader. You will also have a proven track record of implementing communication strategies, engaging with stakeholders, and building high level relationships.
