Digital Media Manager

Swinburne is embarking on an exciting journey, working towards our new vision of bringing people and technology together to build a better world. We are currently seeking a dynamic Digital Media Manager to drive the strategy, development and implementation of digital advertising with a focus on prospective student recruitment, student retention and digital media optimisation. You will provide your strategic expertise, oversight and be responsible for implementation of day-to-day digital campaign account management for the Marketing and Communications division to ensure all paid digital media integrates with wider marketing campaigns and leverages enterprise marketing technology.

You will strategise, develop and implement all digital campaigns in collaboration with media agencies, partners and vendors, and integrate new processes and systems to enhance and optimise digital advertising performance. This will serve to enrich Swinburne’s reputation and gain market share in various national and international market segments.

This integral role will support other key aims of the division relating to the recruitment and retention of domestic and international students for the University. In addition, to delivering effective value and optimisation of paid digital media in alignment with meeting retail and brand campaign objectives.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated management experience in marketing and the implementation, development and maintenance of Programmatic, SEM, Remarketing and Social advertising
  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns/accounts in an agency or equivalent environment
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of multimedia and design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud suite), web publishing, analytics tools, Marketing optimisation/experimentation platforms (e.g. Adobe Experience Cloud suite) and Microsoft Office software
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data and produce reports to accurately inform business decisions, including appropriate knowledge and use of Adobe or Google Analytics
