We are a full service customer experience agency currently going through a period of tremendous growth and need a Digital Media Manager who is passionate about building digital media strategies who wants to work with some of the world’s leading brands across Australian Sport.

The Media team provides strategy, planning and buying services to maximise campaign exposure for our clients. It is one of the fastest growing departments within the agency due to recent exponential client growth & this role is a new addition to the team.

In this role you will report into the Digital Media Director and work alongside a team of high performing media specialists.

You will be responsible for building gold class media strategies for a range of clients with a key account focus in Australian Sport. You will support the Digital Media Director and Client Account Directors in the delivery of planning, managing and providing insight into performance media strategies and work closely with client service teams to provide specialist planning and rationale support.

You’ll thrive on the tools, with a focus on both Google Ads & Facebook Ads with an interest and understanding of the broader media landscape and digital ecosystem. Passing your knowledge onto the junior members of the team you’ll contribute to continually growing their knowledge & elevating the team as a whole.

You are at the front line, executing media strategies, optimising campaign performance and making sure that we deliver to the highest possible standard for all campaigns. You are responsible for the day-to-day management of media buying and optimisation for your clients as well as quality control and guidance for team members.

  • Implementation Management: Through complete ownership of the implementation process, you maximise ROI for all campaigns. Setting up approved campaigns with attention to detail, monitoring, optimising and communicating about the ongoing performance.
  • Reporting: You use a suite of tools (Supermetrics, Google Data Studio etc) to provide reports that are timely, accurate and insightful. These reports give clients and other members of the team the ability to make valuable decisions that improves campaign effectiveness, ROI and potentially (when appropriate) leads to increased media spend. You are solutions focused and escalate any anomalies in campaigns to the Director and relevant client service team members.
  • Planning: you work alongside the strategy and planning team to develop media plans that reach clients’ and campaign objectives. You’re focused on learning and developing your planning skills, adding value to the planning process wherever possible. You interpret larger scale media strategies and assist in determining how to best execute.
  • Partner Management & Negotiation: you build relationships with media partners, clarify briefs and negotiate to the best possible rates for our media spend.
  • Technical Expertise: you make it your business to stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in the media space. You are an expert in the tools and platforms required to do your role and take an active interest in better ways of doing things.
