The City of Parramatta Council is currently looking for a Digital Marketing Team Leader, an individual with proven experience in leading a team of digital marketing specialists to create, develop and edit content for core websites, social media and digital assets to:
 

  • Enable access to key information and facilitates seamless transactions
  • Actively targets and reaches identified audiences, and
  • Supports the awareness of Council’s initiatives


About the role
The Digital Marketing Team Leader is responsible for managing and delivering digital marketing campaigns and activities to support the delivery of large digital projects where required for the City of Parramatta’s core websites and digital platforms.

Key components of the role include creation of engaging web content, optimising user experience (UX), organic and paid digital marketing programs and integrating the delivery of content with other online channels including social media, applications and email. This role requires a diverse set of digital skills.

City of Parramatta Council has two core websites: the Council website, and AT Parramatta website, a destination based website which serves to promote and position Parramatta as a destination of choice to live, work, study and play resulting in improved perceptions and community pride, increased visitation, economic prosperity and sustainability for the City of Parramatta.

About the person
Data driven with applied knowledge of User Experience (UX) and Customer Experience (CX), the successful candidate will be able to use their digital skill set, which has been cultivated for a minimum of 5 years, to promote the use of best practice digital marketing approaches throughout the organisation.

This role requires someone who possesses strategic and tactical thinking, a high level of personal motivation and initiative, ability to prioritise, attention to detail, team orientation, cross-functional collaboration, resilience, adaptability, and an ability to get the job done.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or other related field.
