The Role…

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will play a hands-on role in driving our brand presence across all social media platforms. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating marketing content and campaigns for digital and online channels including websites, apps and social media.
  • Maintaining and updating Mercy Community’s websites and our internal Sharepoint pages.
  • Analysing digital and web tracking tools to provide insights into the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Implementing, championing, and utilising platforms to support digital marketing and social media activities.
  • Developing and delivering plans for social media growth and evolution of Mercy Community’s centrally managed channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Coordinating and planning a schedule of activity across Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube and other platforms to expand our social media audience base.
  • Contributing to digital marketing campaigns from a channel development, creative and engagement perspective and market positioning development.
  • Producing useful and engaging digital content optimised for SEO.
  • Coordinating and implementing online advertising, regularly reviewing and amending keywords and ad groups to optimise performance.
  • Providing best practice social media advice and recommendations to peers, stakeholders and managers.
  • Managing and producing the filming and editing of video content to support Mercy Community’s objectives.

About You…

To be successful in the role you will hold tertiary qualifications in digital marketing or similar and be digitally savvy with experience in managing social media platforms for business. You will have highly developed technical skills across content management systems, Adobe, SEO, SEM and Google AdWords, Google Analytics and Google Business.

You will have strong written communication skills suitable for print and online environments, along with exceptional verbal communication skills to influence others. Your ability to prioritise work requirements, work autonomously, respond to direction in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success.
